USA SWIMMING
Swimmers ages 9 - 14 may also register with USA Swimming (USAS). HAC is affiliated with the Middle Atlantic Local Swim Committee which includes portions of Pennsylvania and New Jersey and all of Delaware. The USAS program is intended for the year-round swimmer. The winter short-course session begins in October and ends in early April. The summer long-course session begins in May and ends in early August. Swimmers normally register in the Fall. There is an annual fee for USAS membership. Membership is renewed yearly. USAS swimmers are eligible to compete in USAS-sanctioned meets where they meet the qualifying standards. HAC's year-round Gold Level, Silver Level and Bronze level swimmers are a part of USAS and fees are all inclusive.
